Taiwan's EVA Air has signed an agreement with Airbus covering the purchase of an additional A330-200 twinjet. EVA started adding General Electric CF6-powered A330-200s to its fleet in June 2003, just over two years after it agreed to lease six from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) and purchase two from Airbus. It later signed for two more of the type from GECAS, lifting its lease and purchase commitments to 10 aircraft.
