Airline Investors Partnership has bought a $20 million controlling stake in Hawaiian Airlines, following the ratification by the carrier's four unions of new concessionary contracts in mid-January. Charles Adams, AIP's primary shareholder, takes the duties of chairman from Bruce Nobles, who remains Hawaiian's president and CEO.
