AgustaWestland has notched up another success for the A109 Power helicopter by selling three of the aircraft to the Japanese National Police Agency.
Working with Tokyo-based Kanematsu Corporation, AgustaWestland secured the deal which will see aircraft deployed with local police agencies in Hyogo, Mie and Tokyo, to be used for police patrol and rescue operations.
The selection builds on previous A109 sales to the Japanese National Police Agency, further establishing the aircraft in the Japanese market.
