Uzbekistan Airways is to open services to the Spanish city of Barcelona during the first half of this year.
The airline says it will operate nonstop on the route from Tashkent from 24 May.
Uzbekistan Airways will fly to Barcelona weekly. Its reservations system indicates that it will use Boeing 787-8s on the route.
FlightGlobal's networks database indicates that there are no other scheduled operations between the two countries.
