Eurocopter has handed over the keys to the first of two offshore EC155 B1 helicopters to Norwegian customer Helicopter Transportation Group (HTG). HTG is the launch customer for the aircraft in Scandinavia.
The two aircraft, the second of which will be delivered in late summer, will be operated by Danish firm DanCopter, in which HTG has a one-third share.
HTG was formed in 1990 and has since expanded through a series of acquisitions - SHS and Osterman Helicopters in Sweden, Airlift AS and Heliteam in Norway and more recently with a bid for Airlift AB, again in Sweden.
Eurocopter president Fabrice Brégier presented the keys to Aage Krog, president and founder of HTG in a ceremony at the show yesterday
