Qantas in Fiji

As Qantas nears its final share issue (see p18), it has dabbled in the investment market itself, increasing an existing equity holding in Fiji flag Air Pacific. Qantas raised its stake to 17.5 per cent after buying a 7.5 per cent holding from Sea-Com Corporation of Japan.
