The US Navy plans to develop a standard digital-map system for McDonnell Douglas (MDC) F-18s and AV-8Bs, Bell AH-1Ws and UH-1Ns, Bell Boeing V-22s, Grumman F-14Ds and Sikorsky HH-60Hs. MDC is to be awarded a development contract for the tactical-aircraft moving-map-capability programme.
