Stellex Aerostructures and Sonaca announced at the show the formation of a joint venture company. Sonalex will manufacture major aerospace structural assemblies in the US at Stellex's precision machining facilities. "Sonalex offers US customers a breakthrough capability for complex structures, such as complete design, manufacturing, sourcing and assembly capability," says Ray Benvenuti, president and chief executive of Stellex.
