Surplus 747s

Singapore Airlines' (SIA) sale of eight surplus Boeing 747-300s to Pakistan International Airlines has collapsed because of their price. On-off negotiations, have been under way since late 1995, but the carriers failed to agree on SIA's reported $500 million asking price.
