Raytheon has won US civil certification for the T-6A Texan II primary trainer, allowing deliveries to the US Air Force to begin. Two aircraft will be delivered to Randolph AFB, Texas, later this year for operational evaluation. Greece, meanwhile, has signed a $200 million contract for 45 T-6As, the final 20 of which, plus five option aircraft, will be in an advanced New Trainer Aircraft configuration specified by the Greek air force.
