Eurocopter is offering its Tiger attack helicopter to Spain equipped with the Rafael NT-D anti-tank missile. The helicopter was originally offered with the Trigat LR missile but uncertainty over the future of the weapon has prompted Eurocopter to offer an alternative. Spain is selecting an attack helicopter, with Boeing's AH-64 Apache and the Tiger as leading contenders. The fibre-optic-guided NT-D has a range of up to 10km (6 miles).
