Trans World Airlines is boosting its Boeing twinjet fleet with an order for four more 757-200s from Boeing and the lease of one additional Boeing 767-300ER from International Lease Finance. The deals are part of the airline's fleet renewal programme, in which a further 24 Boeing MD-80s will also be added. The five new aircraft will be delivered by the end of next year, by which time TWA's remaining Boeing 727s will have been retired.
