TWA component deal

Trans World Airlines (TWA) has signed a five-year component-maintenance agreement with Rockwell's Collins Commercial Avionics, which is expected to provide 20% savings, or about $100,000 in the first year. TWA will pay a monthly fixed-price per flight-hour, per unit, for avionics repairs.
