V-22 trial
A Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey tiltrotor development aircraft has embarked on the amphibious assault ship the USS Saipan to begin sea trials. The V-22 will be used for ship interface tests, launch and recovery, deck and elevator handling, hangar stowage and routine maintenance.
