The 10kN Williams-Rolls FJ44-2A has been chosen to power the Raytheon Premier I light business jet, more than 100 of which have been sold a full two years ahead of scheduled first deliveries.

The FJ44-2 will also power the Sino Swearingen SJ30-2 business jet, now under development. The FJ44-1 powers the Cessna CitationJet.

Sweden took delivery of the first Saab 105 jet trainer to be re-engined with the Williams-Rolls FJ44 in September. Over 100 Saab 105s are due to be modified through 1998. Williams Rolls is a joint venture of Williams International and Rolls-Royce.
