Bombardier Flexjet saw a strong rebound in aircraft sales and orders in 2004.

The fractional ownership provider recorded a 32% increase in sales of shares in Learjet and Challenger models in the year ending 31 December compared with the previous year.

"December also saw the strongest sales that Flexjet has seen in more than three years and transactions completed during the fourth quarter of 2004 were up more than 70% compared with the same period in 2003," says Bombardier Aircraft Services president Michael McQuay.

He adds the Challenger 300 and Learjet 40 introduced last year have provided a significant boost to the programme.
