Pilatus Business Aircraft, manufacturer of the PC-12 NG, the world's best-selling turboprop business aircraft, says it is reinventing the aircraft delivery and ownership experience with the launch of its new iPad delivery programme.
New owners of the Pilatus PC-12 NG will in future receive an Apple iPad containing interactive content customized to each owner's individual aircraft, as well as delivery documents, owner's manuals and a variety of useful aviation apps - all designed to enhance Pilatus' long-standing reputation for superior customer service and satisfaction.
"Our new iPad delivery programme for the PC-12 NG reflects Pilatus' technology leadership in business aviation and our commitment to delivering best-in-class customer service and satisfaction," says Thomas Bosshard, President and CEO of Pilatus. "Not only does the new programme simplify the delivery process for our owners, it also reflects their affinity for leading-edge technology."
Speaking at the show yesterday sales and marketing director Daniel Kunz, says the Swiss manufacturer develops close relationships with its customers. "So often the people that come to look at the aircraft are the people that will own them and fly them. We get to know our owners."
Kunz says the PC-12's capabilities in short or unmade runways will help it grow its reputation in China as the country develops its infrastructure. "This aircraft can fly out of grass or gravel strips with all of the comforts of a business jet cabin."
The versatile PC-12 performs many roles worldwide, including executive transport, commuter, air ambulance, police and border surveillance, cargo, and even as a regional airliner.
