Bids are due in mid-August for a $110 million contract to build a 4,100m (13,530ft) runway, taxiways and related facilities at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Ten groups of international and local contractors have been prequalified to bid. The UK's Halcrow Group is consultant for the work.
