AerCap has launched a senior unsecured bond which will potentially consist of two tranches.

The lessor is looking to raise an unidentified amount in five-year 4.875% notes and another tranche of notes with an unidentified tenor, a securities filing shows.

Bloomberg data indicates that the notes are scheduled to price today and close on 3 April.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Wells Fargo are joint bookrunners for the deal.

In January, Dublin-based AerCap closed a $1.1 billion two-tranche bond consisting of $700 million in 4.450% notes due 2022 and $400 million in 4.875% notes due 2024.
