Eurocopter's AS550 C3 Fennec helicopter is making its Indian debut at the show.
The AS550 recently completed field trials with full mission equipment for the Indian armed forces' reconnaissance and surveillance applications, says Eurocopter.
"We are very happy with the Fennec's performance during the recent trials, and are confident it is the ideal proposition as the rightful successor to the Cheetah and Chetak," says Eurocopter vice president of sales for South Asia, Rainer Farid.
The company's participation at the show will also focus on the AS565 Naval Panther - a version of the Dauphin family, which is suited for the requirements of the Indian Navy and Coast Guard, says Eurocopter.
Also on display is Eurocopter's EC135 in an emergency medical services configuration.
