The fifth Aero India air show was staged at Yelahanka airbase near Bangalore from 9-13 February, attracting 363 exhibitors from 31 countries, including a record 16 US companies. The Americans are showing new interest in the vibrant Indian market following the lifting of an arms embargo and are keen to place the first US aircraft with the Indian air force.
