Aeroflot is poised to deploy its Sukhoi Superjet 100s on international services after receiving its third of the type.
The carrier said its new regional jets would begin flying across the border in mid-November, first on the Moscow-Oslo route.
It has taken delivery of the third Superjet 100, which today carried out a scheduled flight from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod.
This has brought the number of Russian cities served by Superjets to seven with three more domestic destinations to be added shortly.
Aeroflot is expecting to introduce the fourth of the type by year-end.
