John Bernard has been appointed vice-president of sales, eastern region, and Ted Malys vice-president of sales, central region, at US carrier American Trans Air (ATA). Bernard was previously director of transportation at Boston, Massachusetts-based TNT Vacations. Malys joined ATA in 1982 as regional sales manager.
