The National Security Committee of the Australian Cabinet is expected this week to approve a revised acquisition strategy for the Air 9000 military rotary-wing aircraft competition. Australia shortlisted Eurocopter and Sikorsky for the project late in 2003, rather than selecting an outright winner.
