Brazilian airframer Embraer has disclosed that it has secured an order for 15 E195-E2s, attributed to an undisclosed customer.

The company says it values the order at $1.17 billion.

Embraer will add the order to its full-year total for 2022.

By the end of its most-recent third quarter the company had listed 227 total orders for the E195-E2, of which it had delivered 39.

The variant – like the other E2 family member, the E190-E2 – is fitted with Pratt & Whitney PW1900G engines.

Embraer had listed a backlog of just three E190-E2s at the third-quarter mark, compared with 188 E195-E2s.

It also still had over 100 of the conventional E175 to deliver.
