Swiss holiday airline African Safari Airways (ASA) has introduced an Airbus A310-300 on wetlease from Hapag-Lloyd ahead of delivery of its first A310 in February. The Basle-based carrier specialises in charter operations to Kenya for parent African Safari Club. The A310 is replacing a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 which the airline has operated for nine years, but which is now too large for ASA's needs.
