Airlift Northwest, based in Seattle, Washington, has taken delivery of two AgustaWestland A109 Power emergency medical service helicopters, with four Agusta Grands to follow. Airlift Northwest provides medical transport for Washington state and says it chose the Power and Grand models because of the varied constraints of the local terrain, which range from mountainous to desert.
