Alion Science & Technology is to acquire Carmel Applied Technologies (CATI), California-based developer of the X-IG image-generation software for PC-based simulator visual systems. X-IG has been selected to upgrade 24 US Army Boeing CH-47 and Sikorsky UH-60simulators, as well as for three Rockwell Collins UH-60 devices.
