Swiss start-up charter carrier Air Switzerland hopes to launch services in August using three Fairchild Dornier 328-100s acquired from defunct carrier Swisswings.  The turboprops will be used on routes from the carrier's Berne hub to Brussels and Dusseldorf and from Zurich to Marseilles. The airline is also gearing up for long-haul operations using two ex-Singapore Airlines Airbus A340-300s on charter operations to East Asian and transatlantic destinations.
