The World Bank's international finance division has granted Volga-Dnepr Airlines a $29.9 million loan under a 10-yearcontract to finance the construction of an Antonov An-124-100 Ruslan freighter. The aircraft will be built at the Aviastar facility in Ulyanovsk, Russia, and will be the airline's tenth. It is the first time that an international bank has provided funding for Russian aircraft production.
