The US Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), of Frederick, Maryland, has appointed David Hinson chairman of the Air Safety Foundation Board of Visitors. Hinson, formerly Administrator of the US Federal Aviation Administration, succeeds Najeeb Halaby, who was the second FAA Administrator.
