Asian Aerospace is staying put for at least another two years. The show organiser has confirmed that it will continue to be held at the current Changi airport site at least until 2006, contradicting the report in 2002 that it would move to a new, bigger site for 2006.

It is understood that Asian Aerospace, a Reed Exhibitions company, is set to announce new plans for Asian Aerospace 2008 before the present show is over.

Talk over the last few months has been that the show would move to Seletar, the island's original Royal Air Force airstrip and currently a small commercial aviation airport, which was supposed to have been redeveloped. However, the Singapore government recently announced that there were no plans to redevelop Seletar.
