Atar upgrade
To meet armed forces' requirements over the next 25 years, France's Snecma aero engine builder, in co-operation with Denel Aviation of South Africa and Industria de Turbopropulsores (ITP) of Spain, is developing a new and more powerful Atar Plus version of the proven Atar 09K50 single-shaft turbojet.
