Avions de Transport Regional (ATR) has agreed a global spare parts distribution deal with Interturbine Logistik to cut costs for its customers. Interturbine is to act as a "one-stop source" for the 115 airlines operating ATR aircraft, supplying components such as fasteners, rivets, electrical connectors and switches from distribution centres in the USA, the UK, France, Germany, China, Singapore and Australia. Interturbine says its policy of managing the entire supply chain helps it cut costs for its customers. ATR will also give a 3% discount to airlines that routinely order parts from its catalogue for delivery within 30 days.
