Air Wales has introduced two ATR42-300s which are replacing the two Fairchild Dornier 228s that it has operated since its launch in September 2000. The expanding Welsh airline has been wet-leasing 19-seat turboprops for services from Cardiff and Swansea to Cork and Dublin and Plymouth to Cork, pending introduction of the ATRs. Services from Swansea to London City will begin this month.
