Belgian AMRAAM

The Belgian air force has declared operational its first squadron with the Raytheon advanced medium range air-to-air missile (AMRAAM). An initial batch of 34 missiles was delivered this year following a September 1996 order. The $30.6 million deal was for 72 missiles and 16 captive training missiles.
