BOC Aviation has entered into an agreement to sell a 15 aircraft portfolio to a third-party lessor, with the transaction expected to close over the course of the year.
The lessor says in a stock exchange disclosure that the deal covers five Airbus A320s, nine Boeing 737s and one 777, which have an appraised value of $551 million.
BOC Aviation would not disclose further details about the aircraft nor the purchaser when approached by FlightGlobal.
The sale is the first significant disposal by the Singapore-based lessor, which has focused on growing its portfolio since listing on the Hong Kong bourse in 2016.
