Brazil space work

Aerospatiale has been selected by Brazilian space agency research institute INPE to develop the $4 million optical section for the CIMEX observation instrument, due to fly on the Space Shuttle in 1998. Aerospatiale will also develop the optical instrument for the next generation of Sino-Brazilian remote-sensing satellites for INPE.
