UK charter and management company Zenith Aviation has taken delivery of two new Bombardier Learjet 75 business jets that are being used to expand its short-haul charter business in Europe.
The superlight aircraft – registrations G-USHA and G-ZNTH – arrived at Zenith’s London Biggin Hill airport base in early October and entered service at the end of the month, says company managing director Stuart Mulholland.
The twinjets join Zenith’s six-strong fleet of owned and managed business jets, which includes two superlight Cessna Citation XLSs, three Learjet 45s and a large-cabin Bombardier Challenger 604.
“The European market is fantastic at the moment,” Mulholland says. “Last year we flew 700h. I set a target of doubling that this year and, as I say, we expect to achieve around 1,600h by year-end. Having the new 75s available, I am very hopeful that we can further increase our activity in 2017.”
