MaxJet
MAXJET The defunct US all-premium carrier scrapped a proposed takeover of the airline's assets, heaping further uncertainty on its efforts to relaunch services. Investors connected with transport consultancy NCA Sports Group had set up a company to acquire all of the airline's assets and restart it as a charter carrier, named NCA Maxjet, using two Boeing 767-200s. But Maxjet vice-president of finance Joe Marotta says the purchase agreement has been "terminated".
