Egyptian carrier Egypt Air has grabbed an opportunity offered by Airbus to introduce its new A330-300 fleet this year, which is much earlier than planned. The carrier, which already has seven A330-200s, was originally due to begin taking its five -300s next year, but holding company chairman Hussein Massoud says the first will arrive "before August". He says: "Airbus came with a proposal to take the aircraft early. I changed the crisis into an opportunity."
