The US Air Force has awarded Boeing a $16 million contract to conduct the second phase of work to qualify a penetrator warhead for the Conventional Air-Launched Cruise Missile (CALCM). Last year, Boeing selected the Lockheed Martin Advanced Unitary Penetrator (AUP-3) to give the CALCM a hard-target penetrator.
