It's pink, it's wild and wacky - US engine parts manufacturer Forged Metals certainly knows how to draw the crowds in showbiz style.
The company's confectionery candy pink Citroen 2CV and matching trailer, displaying some of its products, has brought a touch of California to Le Bourget. Amazingly, the car comes complete with original numberplate, Paris '97, bought two years ago especially for the show.
The mean machine was painted in a riot of colour by Gary Fraser and took 18 months to customise. "Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to drive it here," says Fraser. "It's owned by Forged Metals' vice-president/general manager Steve Blair and he said 'No'. I wanted to take it into Paris and photograph it next to some famous landmarks."
What the Parisians would have made of it, we'll never know. But it's proving very popular in Hall 3 - and the Forged Metals team does a great line in another California speciality, home-made Margueritas.
