Jan Carlzon, former CEO of SAS is to head up Transpool, a holding company that will bring together Transwede, SAS' Swedish rival, and Nordpool, which controls 30 per cent of the Nordic package holiday market. The move, which should boost Transwede's charter operations, will see Carlzon become chairman of all three companies.
