By the end of July seven development projects will be placed with Chinese organisations for Galileo, the European satellite navigation programme. The decision was announced following a Beijing meeting last week between the Galileo Joint Undertaking (GJU) organisation and the National Remote Sensing Center of China. China is investing €200 million ($250 million) in Galileo, €70 million of which will be spent on Chinese participation in the development phase.
