AlliedSignal Aerospace's joint venture with China Eastern Airlines to repair and overhaul wheels and brakes opened at Long Hau Airport, Shanghai on 28 June. On 1 July, McDonnell Douglas opened a commercial-aircraft-spares centre in Beijing with China Aviation Supply.
