The US Naval Reserve has taken delivery of the first of six Boeing C-40A Clippers, which are based on the 737-700 airliner. Three additional C-40As, which are to be stationed at the NAS/Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, are being modified at Boeing's plant in Wichita, Kansas. The C-40As will replace 27 Boeing C-9 Skytrains.
