Ball Aerospace & Technologies has completed testing of the CloudSat radar satellite, to be launched later this year with sister spacecraft Calipso under NASA's Earth System Science Pathfinder programme. CloudSat and the Calipso lidar satellite will be part of the A-Train constellation of Earth observation satellites.
