Cockpit upgrade
Microvision has received a $1.5 million contract to continue work with Boeing under the US Army's Virtual Cockpit Optimisation Programme (VCOP), on a visual system for helicopter pilots that merges flight data and sensor imagery on a retinal-scanning helmet-mounted display. The system could cut aircraft upgrade costs, says Microvision.
