Michelin says that on-aircraft tests of its new radial tyre for the Aerospatiale/British Aerospace Concorde have shown it performs well. The NZG (near zero gross) tyre, is 20% lighter than normal designs. It stays inflated under extreme conditions, including abandoned take-off, says Michelin.
